ANALYSIS

Not a bad start for my D-RODs. Unfortunately, Martell Webster‘s 30-point explostion cut considerably into my team’s ability to build up any sort of cushion against a Swaggy E squad that, admittedly, is far superior to mine.

I mean, it’s not as though Ethan arrived at the best record in the Bleacher Report league through the first seven weeks (42-14) by accident or pure luck. The guy’s got himself a killer roster, thanks in large part to having Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook on his side.

Which brings us to tonight’s matchups…

ANALYSIS

Good news: the Oklahoma City Thunder are playing tonight, which means that Serge Ibaka, one of my top performers, will be in action.

Bad news: the Thunder are playing tonight, which means that Durant and Westbrook are probably going to go bonkers.

Especially against a fast-paced Denver Nuggets squad, in the Mile High City.

Worse news: my only other two going are Tony Allen, a defense-first (and shooting-challenged) swingman, and Alonzo Gee, whose usefulness for the Cleveland Cavaliers rarely (if ever) shows up in the box score.

Meanwhile, Ethan could have as many as four other players going tonight, depending on the condition of Randy Foye‘s twisted ankle.

In other words, it’s like Kobe Bryant once said, “If you see me in a fight with a bear, pray for the bear.”

Except, in this case, Ethan’s Kobe and I’m…about to be a rug.
