Christmas has come and gone once again—the eggnog’s been slurped down, the gifts have been unwrapped (and, in some cases, returned) and the ties that bind family and friends together have either been strengthened by merriment or frayed by contentious contact.
Either way, it’s back to the fantasy basketball grind, with “grind” being the operative word here at The Lazy Man’s Guide to Fantasy Sports…

Ames Black Falcons
It’s entirely possible that one of Grant Rindner’s players (Damian Lillard) will single-handedly outproduce all three of the D-RODs who are set to play tonight. Heck, even the second-best of the Black Falcons (Kawhi Leonard) could pull off such a stunt if the San Antonio Spurs weren’t already hell-bent on playing the most team-oriented brand of basketball since the Portland Trail Blazers circa 1976-77.
Perhaps, though, that same style of play will work to my benefit, what with Boris Diaw set to play against the Dallas Mavericks tonight as well. Or, perhaps Tony Allen will have a Kawhi-like night while guarding James Harden.
Or, perhaps I’ve already drifted so far back into the world of holiday delusions that I’m being haunted by the Ghosts of Wishful Thinking’s Past.
Whatever the case may be, one thing remains clear in my mind: Go D-RODs!
