The Results, 12/25/2013 + What Ever Happened to That Trade Proposal?

Hope y’all had a joyful and relaxing Christmas. I, for one, spent the entire day watching NBA games, most of which were pretty terrible—and the final of which was marred by some rather bush league tactics by the Golden State Warriors.

Fortunately, my Derrick Rosie O’Donnells had themselves a decent Christmas themselves…

ANALYSIS

Three days through a light week of action, and my D-RODs are even on the scoreboard! They pulled ahead in blocks, thanks to three swats between Paul Pierce and Serge Ibaka, and have opened up solid leads in the percentage categories and assists.

Which brings me to the Ricky Rubio-for-Goran Dragic swap that Joel Cordes proposed earlier this week. Once again, you spoke and I listened. A hundred of you folks voted—44 said I should decline it, 43 said I should accept it and 13 more thought I should just let the trade expire.

So, as I’d done twice before, I went with the general opinion (i.e. DON’T DO IT!), but rather than go through all the trouble of clicking “Decline,” I opted instead to let the proposal die on the vine.

A big thanks to all of you who partook in the poll. I’m glad I can still count on you to make my decisions for me.

We’ll be back soon to preview the matchups for Thursday night.
