ANALYSIS

Thursday was a rather uneventful day for my D-RODs, and not just because there were only two NBA games on the slate—though that was certainly a contributing factor. Not a single one of my players was active last night.

Heck, even the banged-up guys on my bench wouldn’t have contributed anything to the cause had they been healthy, since their teams weren’t scheduled to play.

Instead, I could do little more than watch in (as much) horror (as an apathetic fellow like myself could muster) while Chris Bosh went off for 31 points and six rebounds and Jordan Hill and C.J. McCollum combined for 15 points and eight boards.

Luckily, those three weren’t able to shake up the big board in any meaningful way. Alec Nathan’s leads in points, three-pointers and field goal percentage are still massive, and mine in rebounds, assists, steals and blocks remain significant, if not wholly surmountable.

Hopefully, a day of rest will do my D-RODs some good as they head into yet another pivotal Friday…

ANALYSIS

No simple math needed here. Just two teams of 10, going toe-to-toe to tip off the last full weekend of January.

We can all thank The Association for the excitement, seeing as how the schedule makers deigned to drop a whopping 13 games on the calendar for tonight. In fact, the Los Angeles Lakers are the only club from Thursday’s TNT double-header that will be partaking in tonight’s action.

So sit back, relax and fire up your League Pass, folks, ’cause tonight’s gonna be a fun one in the NBA.

And, with any luck, a fun one for my D-RODs, as well.
